Hey guys so like I said last week new set up of how things would do. In this weeks video working on a new concept. Am going to do my best to show you all how I work on my concepts and am changing a bit of the dynamics for it. What I mean is working on giving lighting and depth to my images. So here on out will try to keep things explained during the video. Well till next week guys would love to hear what you all thing :).

So hey everyone this is one a day early and two I didn’t post anything last week. The reason is am trying to figure out what the plan is for showing you all my art and am planning on going back to school for computer repair. Now the plan. This Wednesday there will be no video or post. Starting next week will start back up again on videos and telling you how I do said art. Will like to do it as 2D art then move to 3D art and then back to 2D art. Some of the 2D art like concept of characters will go from the concept phase then move to the 3D model stage to see the transition. I will explain as much as possible from here on out and at the end of each final piece do a compilation so you all can see the beginning to end sped up. Well that is what will happen so starting next week keep an eye out; till next time 🙂

Hey everyone so here is the completed video of working on hairless Rath. Now in this we are doing poly painting. We wont use the diffused or normal mapping. Since Zbrush has its own painting method in this aspect I think works better then texture mapping. To do skin as you would see I put a blue layer along with a red one before adding the grey. Skin has many colors to it to make the skin blend. If have any questions comments critiques they are all welcome. Now the Travels of Great Adventures am working on it so there isn’t an updated chapter this week so stay tuned for that. Till next time 🙂

Hey there everyone, so here we are getting the model ready for polypainting. Now am just working on getting the details of the body a bit more defined and adding some of the markings. For the markings I am adding some of them onto the body as if they have been engraved and carved into the body. This is mostly on the arms more so than the chest. So have any questions, comments, concerns or want to know more about who hairless Rath is and his story will try and explain as much as possible.

Now for the “The Travels of Great Adventurers” the next chapter is up and available to read. I have been working on a lot of other things such as other books, some 2D art and 3D art so my updates for Travels is going to start to slow down. Plus need to continue writing more of it. So keep an eye out for the new art and books.

Hey everyone so this week am finishing up the mane for our hairless Rath model. Yeah this was a long trip to get to this point but I think it was the best way to get the mane to flow how I wanted it. You all might have noticed that some of the strands of the mane flow a bit uneven. There is a reason, the 2D image that I drew did show some of the hair was spiked up on the top of the head. But some of the hair you cant really see it since the image is in 2D. Now the next step is just to finish up making the model smooth and adding the last details. So stay tuned for next weeks video.

Hey guys so continuing with the hair for the Hairless Rath model. Now in this am working on adding more to the mane. The plan is to get the strands that I have done to merge them together to make it easier to finish up the mane in next weeks video. Hey everyone so here is the next video of the Hairless Rath model. In this showing more of doing the mane for the model. Now in this am adding the strands that flow over the models face. What can be done to cut down the time of making each strand is to bunch up some and then duplicate it and move it to where you need to add hair/fur.

Hey everyone, hope you all had a good holiday. I had a good one and worked on art. Am back on track and am eager to show everyone what I have learned or am learning at this time. Now when it comes to this new Hairless Rath model video will be working on adding the mane to the model. Its a bit time consuming but to make the hair like a mane I think this way is the best way to do it in my opinion there are many other ways to do it but this way works for me best in this setup.

Hello everyone, hope all is good. Here to say Merry Christmas to all and New years. Its the holidays  so decided to spend the time with family and friends. So till the 6th of January wont put up any updates on the Hairless Rath model. But doesn’t mean I wont do some art and work on the model during the holiday so keep watch on what will put out.
